TOFU MUSHROOM BROCCOLI STIR FRY






Delicious Tofu Stir-Fry with Broccoli and Mushrooms – a quick and easy weeknight dinner that is loaded up with healthy vegetables! Perfect with rice or just on its own, it’s satisfying and full of nutrients.
Feel free to add other veggies- carrots, shredded cabbage, sliced bell peppers or the way you like. Tofu is a great source of protein, calcium, and iron which is why it is so popular as a plant-based option for vegans and vegetarians.
Ingredients:
- 250gm Broccoli
- 250gm Tofu Pack, Cubed
- 2 cup mushroom, halved into 2
- 1/2tsp powdered black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
- White sesame seeds for garnish
Getting it done:
- Steam Broccoli beforehand.
- You can also marinate the tofu in Soy sauce for 15 mins before frying.
- In a non-stick or skillet, heat the oil (2tsp). When hot, add tofu flipping all sides and turning until most sides are golden brown and crispy, about 7-8 minutes
- Set the tofu aside.
- Add rest of oil and heat. When hot, add ginger and garlic, stirring constantly until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add halved mushrooms. Continue cooking turning heat to medium, stirring often until tender. Add pepper and salt. Saute 1 minute.
- Add soy sauce. Add the steamed broccoli and stir to coat. Add tofu, Stir again. Add more salt and pepper, if necessary.
- Garnish with sesame seeds.
- Serve with Brown or white Rice, Noodles or Quinoa.
